So. This is what this day's massive blog contribution actually is about. The first preview of Op-1's built in FM Radio! What you hear in this demo are some simple effects added and some channel selection in the end. There's also a sequenced beat playing parallel. Remember that this is a very early experiment. We still have some home work to do to fully explore the full potential of having a synthesizer with built-in FM radio (!) radiox

Today E&J bought 182 spray cans, all individual colors. Avant Garde FM!
Wow...! Sorry, but I was just playing around with Op-1's FM engine and recorded the whole session. Here is one part of that recording that I thought was quite interesting..I had to put it up!!! I am not sure what you think..It is avant garde..but I call it: wow-fm
Music test
Not to put any value in the word music, but here is a piece with synth and drums. Some experimentation with the EQ and PTC and also some PAN. And a lot of CMP. Gives you an idea how to dirty your sounds. And as all demos posted here, straight out from the Op-1 proto... seq-beat (I think this will be the last sound-demo for some time now. Have to work with other parts of the project.)
Piano Imitation
This is an experiment to imitate a piano sound using one of Op-1's synth engines. (STR+SPC+SQ+EQ). Warning: It's not ultra-realistic (!). Please feel free to post any sound request. piano

It’s Syricon
A little machine we built for a secret client. It's got laser cut aluminum sides (15mm thick!), custom cnc'd M12 mounting plates, 5 screens, surround sound, 3x 8*8 rgb led screens, oversized jog wheel, built in thermal printer and lot's of other electronics and such!

OP-1 Asia Production Meeting
The meeting in Asia went very well. We fine tuned some details together with our great partner Mr G and engineer Mr K. Big thanks to both of you for the great time and happy moments. We will post more pictures from the trip soon.
OP-1 News update
Life is not just work, it's also pleasure. No. Of course it's work only. This image is from one Teenage Engineering agent sent to K.L. Malaysia to check out some business. Two more agents are going to Hong Kong next week and then all agents meet up in XXXXX to work out a final manufacturing deal. We will send postcards like this when we have the opportunity to get connected so check this space soon again for some fresh OP-1 stuff.
