Weekend weirdness

Today we got an idea from a fan. I think this is genius!!
Translation: Using rubberized chicken feet, you will get "manual" modulation when playing the synth!

Ha, ha! A great feature! Maybe you could make the legs seperately as a device to use on other synths as well!

  5. jesper says:

  6. Clearscreen says:

If it put it on gigantic springs will it play itself? :)
Can you slip us any more info on the sequencer and the sampler yet? Can the sampler do crossfade looping?

R U teenagers planning on including a pth wheel on the OP-1? One of the absolute most annoying things about all of the other shitty mini controllers on the market, is that they see no reason in including one. Maybe you could double the volume knob as a ptch wheel, which would make this the most dangerous portable controller. I’m sure you have bigger fish to fry, but this would make it the undisputable knock out champ, PERIOD!!!! CANNOT WAIT TO GET ME HANDS ON THIS FUCKER!!!

    haha, nice touch!
Buchla actually used something like that in his model 221 kinestethic input port (touch keyboard w. joystick).
When you wiggled the keyboard sideways you could produce vibrato using a small lightbulb and two photo resistors hidden underneath. No rubber chicken feet though… :)
